Anger

Anger is like poison cutting through love and relationships, doing more damage to the receiving parties than…it is a difficult situation.

It is a difficult lesson, especially when one has teens. They pretend like they’re grown and pretend they’re ignoring us, but they do indeed pick up on everything.

I’m no expert on the subject. I can see where anger comes from, at least logically. Disappointment, frustration, pain, fear…

It isn’t a good emotion for Vampires or anyone else.

Anger tears apart relationships and cuts through love. Harsh words and blame take tolls and tear families apart.

For fragile teens (and all teens are fragile) the anger of adults, whether directed towards them or others, turns them away. It makes them stop respecting. It makes them question those around them and those who love them.

No, as in the case of most things, I have no answers, just observations.

  1. May I suggest that adults relating to teenagers need to understand the source of their own personal anger and trace it back to its root cause such as disappointment, rejection, frustration etc., One adults learn to recognise their own personal issues and where they stem from, they can teach their children to do likewise. It is one of the least understood or taught emotional skills and positive coping mechanisms.
