This morning my sixteen year old daughter said, “Did you hear David Bowie died?”
“Yes, I heard.”
Even the Millennial child who listens to Panic! at the Disco and My Chemical Romance knows David Bowie.

He showed us that one can continue to change and be creative and reinvent.
That you can touch the stars and touch the ground with equal love.
You can be weird and normal.
You can be yourself and someone else that is also you.
You can be an astronaut, or an alien, or a Goblin King, or a Vampire.
You can be original.
You can be anything.
You can all do that and be a parent of creative kids.
I don’t know where I’m going from here, but I promise it won’t be boring. ~ David Bowie

I remember seeing video when Col. Chris Hadfield played that in space. We are all reeling from Bowie’s death.
I saw David Bowie live about 25 years ago. He was lovely. One of the best concerts ever.
Yeah, I saw him in Austin in the early 80s while in college. I’ll never forget the experience, he was such a mesmerizing man.
Sometimes I think we’re twins separated at birth.
Me too, it’s amazing!
