Daylillies only bloom during the daylight hours. They refuse to be cut flowers and close up to creatures of the night.
I put on my silly hat, sunglasses and long sleeves to visit with these favorite flowers of mine. The sun is not my friend but I will shun it’s burning rays to catch the daylilly in bloom.
