This is my little corner of the world. Not a bad place to be most of the time.
Nice photos! We had a Cooper’s Hawk swoop down on a tree full of about 50 birds today. I’ve never seen such a commotion from songbirds before as they all flew of in a clatter! Then it took about 20 minutes before we heard any songbirds come back, and one mourning dove that didn’t fly off in the tree sat still that entire time, frozen like a statue. I was beginning to wonder if it died of fright, lol!
I love to watch the hawks. We have to Cooper’s Hawks around here too. I’ve never seen one go after a tree of birds before. What a sight to see.
