A Study in Oscar

This is Oscar. He is my cat.

Oscar not so Wilde. One shade of gray. More mysterious than Dorian and a lot more fun. And he likes to have his belly rubbed.

    1. He is so soft too and such a sweet kitty. My husband told me he was going to adopt a gray kitten so I thought of Dorian, but Oscar seemed to fit him better. He also goes by Oski and “STOP IT.”

  1. Ah, a shy boy… Lily most times just glowers at me when I bring out the camera. Super looking little guy, J. What is so comforting about a cat. Maybe it’s because they choose you. Dogs will be ok with almost anyone, but not a cat ! πŸ™‚

    1. He is such a sweetie and follows me around. Oscar is also a talker and loves to sing us the song of his people in the wee hours of the morning. He also has long conversations with the neighbors. When someone walks by he rolls on the ground to get his belly rubbed. Cute cute cute. I am definitely the mom cat in my house with this one.

  2. He’s a cutie – but with a very serious facial expression. Like he thinks he has a hard life and sees no humor in anything. πŸ™‚ Thanks for sharing these.

    1. He was losing his sense of humor a little with all my picture taking. He is such a mellow cat. We haul him around like a rag doll. And he is so sweet. Unfortunately Gloria the calico cat is none too pleased we brought him home, but even she has to admit that sometimes his company is nice.
