Cat-ur-day Portraits of My Cats

If you were expecting photos of my cats in the unseasonable rain you’ve come to the wrong place. They won’t go outside when water falls from the sky. They stay inside and sit and stare, or sleep, or eat, or wonder why each is not the only cat in this home.

  1. Gloria and Oscar are beautiful. Our cats got out in the rain, come back in all wet and insist on lying on my lap. Or if it’s raining at night, they come in all wet and want to snuggle in bed with me. Laurie thinks you need more cats.

  2. If my cat is out in the rain, he’ll come around to my bedroom window and scratch on it in such a way it sounds like he’s banging on it.

“The smallest feline is a masterpiece.” So true! Cats are amazing little creatures. 🙂

    • Oscar is almost 8 years old and still gets confused when water falls from the sky. He’ll go out in it then come back oh so pathetic with cold wet paws. It is amazing how much noise those little fur balls can make at a window or door.

      • It is very amazing! 😀

I’m convinced that my cat’s ideal world would be warm and dry. It would never rain or snow, but somehow there would always be convenient-sized puddles to drink from. And it would be populated with prey that are fast enough to be a challenge yet just slow enough for him to catch.

  3. Aw, what perfect “WTF are you taking my picture for?” faces that cats are good at. My cats might try to agree with that “Why am I not the only cat in this house?” viewpoint, but they’ve both spent a week here as only cats before and it took no time at all for them to get quite upset that their companion was nowhere to be found…
