In honor of my kitten Sterling’s FIRST BIRTHDAY week, I’m giving away a book about a Vampire and his cats.
ZUCCHINI MARTINIS, THE ANCIENT HISTORY OF VAMPIRES, CHAINSAWS, AND WHY CATS MAKE LIFE BETTER FOR EVERYONE.
After being left for dead and locked in a crypt for three hundred years, Vlad Winter is rescued by his longtime friends and relocated to suburban California. In this confusing new world, he finds himself navigating more unsavory subjects such as pop culture, politics, vampire hunters, the recent pandemic, and his ex-wife. Yet, the former Vampire King comes to appreciate the joys of cats, chainsaws, insightful teenagers, humor, and perhaps the true meaning of cute.
βOf Immortality and Deathly Cuteness: The Secret Diary of Vlad Winter as Transcribed by Juliette Kingsβ is a personal journal written in real time, from 2015-2022.
Based on the popular Vladβs Vampire Diary series from vampiremaman.com, βOf Immorality and Deathly Cutenessβ is a hilarious, brutally honest, and sometimes scary look at our modern world. Vlad shares stories of modern times as well those from centuries ago. Youβll laugh out loud, be inspired, feel a little sweaty, and maybe get shocked out of your socks.

I have missed your stories. It has been a long time, I am glad to see you still at it. π
Thanks. I’m trying. And thanks for the comment. It means a lot.
You reviewed a story I wrote a long time ago called October. I had began working more seriously on writing. You gave me the confidence to try. Regrettably, within a few years of that I was disabled and incapable of working. I was preparing to work with an editor for my first novel. Everything came to an abrupt halt. It’s been ten years but I have been writing non stop for just over a year. For a long time the pain was too great to function. A few years back they rebuilt my spine and replaced a few vertebrae. I can write again and I am going hard. π I look forward to your posts. – Jeff
