There has been so much going on with the elders, and other family matters that my head is in a spin, and my cold Vampire heart is ready to break into a thousand pieces. It is also as hot as hell out and everyone is just roasting. We’re going on weeks of 100+F every single day. Yes, it is summer but… yeah, it is summer.
There are Vampires who love the heat, and thrive in the desert. They watch the scorching sunsets as they wait for the sky to show a zillion stars, while their blood boils within their cool bodies.
Now that summer is in full swing Vampires are complaining about sweaty salty necks, hot wrists, and sunscreen. Sunscreen tastes horrible.
Of course there are ways around all of that, depending on where you find your donars and who they are. Yes, results may vary.
Now that it is so hot, please check in on those who might need extra help, might not be aware of the heat (Eleora who is extremely old will just sit in the heat and seem to not notice even when it is dangerous), and those who are alone and just want to share a cold drink with you.
And PLEASE keep your pets hydrated and don’t walk you dog on hot streets. Even light colored sidewalks will scorch your poochie’s feet.
