So what do you do when your kids are upset when they hear the term “Undead?”

Yes, it was considered for the original title of Dracula (Un-Dead), but also tell them that Mr. Stoker never knowingly met a Vampire (like us).

Tell them it is for zombies. ZOMBIES.

Just tell them it is a term we don’t use.

We’re very much ALIVE. Then go have that talk about vampires in popular culture AGAIN.

Tell them like everything else that we hear – everything that is bogus and untrue about vampires – just ignore it. Glory in your own knowledge that you are a Vampire and be proud of it and that WE’RE VERY MUCH ALIVE!
