  1. J, at first I laughed, but later I looked it up online and there really is such a critter!
There’s even “vampire frog music” available. These little guys have more goin’ on than I do !!!

The mountain jungles of Vietnam are home to a new breed of “vampire”—a “flying” tree frog dubbed Rhacophorus vampyrus.

First found in 2008, the 2-inch-long (5-centimeter-long) amphibian is known to live only in southern Vietnamese cloud forests, where it uses webbed fingers and toes to glide from tree to tree.

Adults deposit their eggs in water pools in tree trunks, which protects their offspring from predators lurking in rivers and ponds.

    • WOW! Thanks for the information. I was just doing a little funny stuff to pull your leg here. I’ve never heard of Rhacophorus Vampyrus but I’ll be sure to look it up!

  2. Holy cow… another deadly frog.
It already LOOKS dangerous. Like a living warning. 🙂
    Thanks for sharing it Juliette!

    • HA HA HA. “LIke a living warning.”
On the other hand it would look cute on top of a black pillbox hat with a little black lace and maybe a feather.
