Wildlife count today: About a dozen turkeys, one coyote pup, an eagle, a hawk, several turkey vultures, bunches of lizards, a giant black bumble bee, one humming bird, three crows, and a curious blue jay. It was odd that I didn’t see any squirrels. The little furry critters are no doubt hunkering down getting ready for the summer heat.
My dog is keeping watch.
So far there are no Goblins in the basement, no Ghosts roaming the upstairs hallway or attic, no Werewolves that I know of, and no Vampire Hunters. It looks like the rest of the day is going to be quiet and productive.

No partridges in a pear tree? It looks really dry with all that yellow grass. But that’s normal for summer out there, I believe.
Well, we can’t let this post not have any squirrels, so here I am…
No bunnies? *sigh*
