I’ve lost a friend and fellow writer, and fellow lover of black cats recently. My brilliant friend, who was a member of my writing tribe “Writers, Poets, and Deviants (WPaD) has passed over to the great beyond.
Dave’s Spence and Nameless stories grabbed me from the beginning and I always looked forward to the next adventure. I’ve about posted his stories here at vampiremaman.com.
We love you Dave and you will be both missed and always remembered.
~ Juliette aka Vampire Maman
From Mandy White: My friend Dave Henderson was a brilliant writer. His Spence story, released as a series of novellas, is unlike anything I’ve ever read. A government experiment gone rogue, cyborg cat Spence returns to the man who rescued him and together they fight to defeat those responsible for Spence’s transformation. The series comes to a satisfying end at volume 4, but Dave decided to write a fifth and final volume, which was never finished. The glimpses he shared with me were phenomenal, and it hurts my soul to know that the fifth volume will forever be a work in progress. In honor of Dave, I have bought a paperback copy of his “Spencethology” for my bookshelf. It includes all four Spence books, plus a couple of additional short stories. It’s well worth the read, if you want to check it out:

I’m sorry for your loss, Juliette. He sounds like a great guy and a amazing writer.
He was great, and he loved his cats more than the universe.
