Today I am taking a break from my usual bog post in honor of those involved in the horrible tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut
My heart goes out to the parents, family members and friends of those killed. I can’t even imagine the grief in their hearts and how their lives will be changed.
Every single day – tell your children that you love them.
Tell your children’s teachers and school principals how much you appreciate them.

So say all of us!

Amen! I was so busy at work today that I didn’t have time to surf the company internet or even my trusty iPhone to see the news. It wasn’t until I received a text from my 18 year old. He told me, and was really upset by it all. He went as far as to use an extremely profane word to describe what he thought about mankind, and I totally understood him. Very, very sad…

Indeed. I might has shared those same words your son used. It was a shock for us all and will be for a long long time.

I remember how I felt in the middle of the night a few months after my mom passed away unexpectedly. This was years ago. I was just barely 21. And I think about that pain that went to places I didn’t know I had and couldn’t explain. And then I think about these families of these children and adults killed in this shooting (and in so many others) and how that pain must be a thousand times worse, and how they must feel like they’re going to go mad. Such sadness is unbearable and terrifying. I wish them well on the path.
I can’t imagine. hugs.
