My dog lives to bark at the same group of deer who walk behind my house every morning. I don’t know if she loves them or thinks she is protecting us. Maybe a bit of both. Maybe she just wants to eat them. Who doesn’t like venison jerky?
I love watching the deer. They’re lovely with their brown gold hair and big eyes. What I don’t appreciate is the big buck who comes down my street at night and eats the roses in my front yard. But hey, if you live by a wildlife area you live with wildlife. That includes those times when they’re jerks (don’t even get me started on the turkeys.)
So, I accidentally posted today’s Burning Question a few days early, so here is another one because, after all, it is Saturday.
Burning Question #12: Are Deer Dear?

Of course deer are dear! Think of Bambi. The ULTIMATE deer movie. I’m still sobbing thinking about it.
Awwwwww. We have the same answer. So does Thumper.
I had to go with “I have no answer” because there wasn’t an option for “maybe” or for “I still haven’t actually ever watched Bambi”.
You must see Bambi if you ever get a chance. It is one of the first “eco political” movies. Seriously, I kid you not. And you have to see Thumper the bunny. Oh goodness it is the definition of cuteness.
I know Thumper, and Bambi. I’ve just not seen the film! Is it on Netflix? I’ll check… Once I’ve finished my essay!
Oh, and what’s the difference between a burning question and a bruning one? Were your fingers simply moving faster than your brain? (That’s what usually happens to me.)

I live for the day when deer are allowed to kill humans for overpopulating their domain. Ahhhhh, fresh blood in the suburbs! (Maybe I shouldn’t mention that on a vampire blog)….
Imagine the kind of holy hell that would be. They’ll have to fight the coyotes for us.
Then there’s Bambi Vs. Godzilla. I really shouldn’t have laughed at that.
