Yes, Burning Questions have FINALLY returned to Vampire Maman, and have I got a question for you.
Tonight my husband Teddy and I watched the latest Mission Impossible movie – Mission Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One. We liked the first few Mission Impossible movies, but this one was crap. It was boring, stupid, full of trite cliches, has a stupid uninspired story line, characters that were almost impossible to care about, and was way too long. It was awful. I texted my daughter and told her we were attempting to watch it. She said she and her boyfriend tried to watch it but found it too boring. Way too boring to finish. Awwww man, it was so stupid. We doubt if we’ll watch part two unless they promise a humongous Kracken and at least two musical numbers.
Now that the Writer’s and Actor’s strikes are over we are hoping for some really awesome movies.
I also hope for some awesome books in 2024. I know of a few that are coming out, both big block buster authors, and some of my favorite indie authors (another Red Darkling book I hope.) Over the past 2-3 years I haven’t finished at least half the books I’ve started because like the lasted Mission Impossible movie they have been boring and full of annoying cliches without no attempts at humor, original characters, or anything else entertaining or new.
So, as a writer, I was thinking “What would my readers want to see?” If I made an action thriller, or even wrote one, what characters would YOU be interested in seeing on the big screen, or on the page, or even on your ebook screen?
