October is the most special month of the year for many reasons. The top 3 being:
- The weather cools down
- It is my birthday
- HALLOWEEN
Of course we love Halloween at my house – we’re Vampires. And Modern Vampires know how to do Halloween!

I’m not sure which I like more, Fall or Spring. Fall has the pretty colors, but it also has the ever-increasing darkness and gloom. Both have good weather. And Halloween is quite cool.
When you live in a hot climate like I do (is was almost 100 today) Fall is always welcomed with open arms, but I always plant (over plant) bulbs for the Spring! There is a promise in a bulb that is almost better than anything!
