Monday is usually (sometimes) reserved for “Juliette’s Book Club.” Not so much today. I’m just throwing up a quick post to let you know I’m here but extremely busy and distracted right now.
I’m currently reading the John Grisham book “The Guardian.” I’m enjoying it a lot. I know some people love to hate authors like Grisham but whatever. Hate what you hate. Hey, if you’re going to hate do it with me and hate the Twilight Series (an old creepy vampire marries a teenager, ick), or the poorly written pseudo porn shades of gray, or my favorite book hate “The Bridges of Madison County,” only to be followed by “Eat, Pray, Love.” But hey, read what you want. Your taste doesn’t have to be mine. Just read my blog – that is all I ask. You’ll thank me for it later.
Now on to more sort of positive aspects of the coming week…
Eleora, the oldest Vampire I know, is coming to stay with me for a few days. She needs a little bit of extra help so we’re going to hang out.
Don’t forget that it is summer, and that means that in most places, especially out here in the Western United States, it is HOT. That means you need to check in on your elders, and others who might need extra help. Make sure they are cool and safe.
Often times the elderly and those who need help are like frogs. Stay with me here. You put a frog in a cold frying pan. You turn on the heat. The pan slowly heats up but the frog just sits. It doesn’t even think about jumping out of the pan. It sits until it fries and dies. Please don’t try this at home – just take my word for it.
I fixed my printer this morning. Cleaned the cat box. Cleaned HUGE black ants out of the humming bird feeder. Fixed a macrame hanger that broke a few months back and hung up a plant. And now I’m going to mop the floors before I go pick up Eleora.
This week I will see puppies (woo hoo), go to the art museum, and talk to my kids who are now grown. I have all sorts of work to do that I don’t go into here.
A few more points:
If you haven’t been vaccinated against Covid-19 PLEASE don’t be an asshole and get vaccinated. If you can’t due to medical reasons I understand. If you can’t because of “religious” reasons or you are an anti-vaxer don’t be an asshole and get vaccinated. Seriously, the people who complain the most about wearing masks are those who refuse to get vaccinated. What the F????
You don’t see Vampires complaining about wearing masks or getting vaccinated. We just do what is right. We always do what is right.
I have to go, but I’ll leave you with my anger, excuse me, I will take a deep breath and leave you with positive vibes because I’m glad you are here, and I will leave you with a picture of my cat. Her name is Gloria. She tuned 16 last month. She came from the local county animal shelter when she was about 8 weeks old.

xoxo

Some people hate successful authors, just out of jealousy. LOL I’m the first one admitting I’m a huge Clive Cussler fan. And I read a few famous stories and books too, not only the books of almost unknown authors. There’s so much talent around – but we shouldn’t forget all of the gifted.
I agree with your opinion about vaccines. Have a blessed Monday evening.
Thank you for dropping by and for your comment. It is always good to have you here.
My pleasure
Clive Cussler rocked. He could tell a story. Oh how I miss Dirk Pitt these days.
So do I.
