Sports practice, dinner and homework is done. Your friendly Vampire family is going to watch America’s Got Talent now. We record it ahead of time for no commercials! Fun fun fun.
Teddy claims to hate American’s Got Talent. It’s the only reality type of show that I watch with the kids. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. The first few years my dear husband protested loudly and acted like we were crazy. Last year he got sucked into it. And even thought he won’t admit it, he’ll sit down during the last hour and watch it with us. He’ll even ask the kids if they have it on record.
But with such torture for my dear husband comes cocktails to help him get through it. And remember, never use cheap booze unless you want a nasty tasting drink and a hell of a hangover.
Vampire Dusk Cocktail
2 oz Bourbon
2 oz Cranberry Juice
1 oz Pineapple Juice
1 oz Purified Blood
A twist of lime
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker half filled with ice cubes. Shake well, strain into a large wine glass filled with ice cubes.
Vampires Got Talent Cocktail
1 oz Irish whiskey
2 oz Rum
1 oz Burbon
2 oz Blood (raw)
2 big splashes Worchestershire sauce
3 big shakes Tobasco
Combine all ingredients in a tall ice filled glass. Garnish with olives of your choice or cocktail onions.
Teddy used to joke that Carrie Nation would make a great Vampire. Some of his friends actually considered turning her. Thank goodness they sobered up.
